A little over a year ago the idea was brought forth to have an ATV site dedicated to the adult community who are not necessarily racers, but ATV enthusiasts. This site is designed with the purpose to bring quality photos, top notch video content, and relevant news to the ATV community. We are a small, but well organized group who welcome anyone with something to add to our rapidly growing member base.
As a site, we run group rides, meet at National and local events, and share tech information. The Quadbuilder strives to provide a family-oriented community. When one of our own was injured racing, our members raised $1000 running a concession stand at an AGP event. The site has brought together like-minded individuals who want to further enjoy the ATV experience without all the excess baggage.
Our gallery includes over 7,000 images displaying everything from a weekend riding excursion to members personal builds to National and local race photos from the GNCC and WPSA and PA series. Our video content is produced with entertainment in mind. In the future we will be adding more videos directed to inform our members with interviews and how-to's. Our boards include several top riders who will give you insight into their training and ATV preparation.
Come on in, check us out and feel free to stay around. |

As we pulled into the Unadilla Motocross Complex I was beginning to think “Running the Outlaw may just be the ticket for me this weekend”. In typical central NY fashion, the days leading up

to Round 10 of the GNCC Series consisted of steady rain mixed with brief downpores. We arrived Friday evening and the rain was continuing through the night and I was sure the afternoon was going to be a slippery mudfest through the tight woods of the infamous Unadilla complex. The weather did however improve through the night and into Saturday for the days events. |

After Evansville last Saturday, the week could not get over with quick enough for me. Besides

winning one race in the beginning of the year, I have had the worst luck at every race in the first half. After the month or so off, I have been pushing myself to finish races in the second half. It had rained most of the day Friday and Saturday, so I figured it was going to be a mud fest! Sunday morning finally rolled around, and I loaded up the truck and was on my way to Nanticoke. |

and the calender finally showed a date I've been waiting for. It was time to load up and get ready for the final four GNCC events of 2009 starting with Unadilla! Myself and Chris Holtry (ECOR29) loaded up and departed around 11:45 am on Friday for the 4.5 trip north to New Berlin, NY and the Unadilla Valley Sports Center. We arrived at the track and were greeted by Dirtdemon into the Quadbuilder pit party. The line of easyups kept getting longer as the machines and members kept rolling in. Last years turnout at Unadilla was awesome and everyone was looking to top it this season. Derno finally arrived and pulled out his easy up. I gladly volunteered to help set it up not knowing the risk involved. It didn't take long for everyone to to notice this tent that has been around awhile. With broken crossbars everywhere it was a struggle to get it in the air. As I clicked my corner into place, my hand slipped off and ran my left pointer finger into the edge of one of the broken bars. Probably the deepest cut I've ever had followed. After some wraps and bandaids I now had one more thing to worry about when it came time to race, o joy, lol. Anyway some awesome burgers for dinner and the usual just hanging out than it was time for bed about 11pm.

Newark Valley, NY 7/18/09 The weather has been the big story throughout the AMA National Series. With two rounds held in heavy rain, it was hard going to the track as the skies were very overcast

and the threat of rain was everywhere. Luckily upon arrival at Beaten Trails the sunny skies prevailed and the weather was perfect for round #5, with temperatures in the low 80's. The race would be held in conjunction with the WNYOA harescramble series. Much like the last round at Miles Mountain the WYNOA staff held a very organized and well prepared course. Sign ups were fast and the day was completely on schedule. At the line were many of the usual suspects such as GNCC Pro Rider Brandon Sommers, Johnny Gallagher, even the GNCC points leader Chris Borich was in attendance. Some of the other notable names who arrived to tackle the course were GNCC womens racer Traci Cecco, Utility legend Mike Penland, and Johnn Gallagher Sr. The course consisted of 8 miles of New York countryside. Rolling hills, fast field section, tight technical woods, and even a creek bed run were included on the track. The conditions were mostly dry with the occassional slick sections of hard pack and mud. |

event would see over 250 quad riders in attendance as these three popular series shared the same track. It would be a national caliber event with the morning classes running 10 miles and the afternoon classes running 12 miles. The weather was cooperating, kind of. It wasn't raining as we came in on Friday but the track had been soaked by 4 inches of rain during the week. |

Sunday June 7th rolled around and the Pa State Harescrambles series would be heading to Foot of the Mountain in Neelyton, PA. The weather had been rainy all week but broke a couple days earlier making for a great track. The weather would be mid 80's and sunny with no wind, but

because of the rain dust would be minimal which was great. The turnout would be another good one. The track would consist of some cool uphills, rocky terrain, some open fields, and some tight technical areas mixed in. The starts would be split due to the turnout with the A, B, Vet and Senior class running first and the C classes, Utility, and the sport classes running after them. |

Sunday May 17th 2009 as I made the trek to Evansville MX located in Berwick, PA many thoughts ran through my mind. How are the track conditions going to be? How is the turnout going to be

since the GNCC was in PA the day before? Am I ready for this race? How well am I going to do today? We arrived at the track about 10:30 am with plenty of time to set up the QB RZR on the starting line for the adult dirtbike start. I started looking around to see how bad the kids dirtbikes were looking from running on the track. After watching several riders go through, it became apparent that yes, there would be water and mud, but it wasn't completely disgusting out there. Now for the turnout. To my surprise alot of people were here for this race including the man who won the ATV Overall the day prior, Chris Borich. I will continue on to say I was not ready for this race in the least bit. As I had to finish preparing my quad at the track. I finally got the chance to install the Schack starter button and just like his kill switch I was very impressed. |
